It’s that time again, the time that 123 football programs throughout Western Pennsylvania line up at the starting line that is the WPIAL high school football season, some have ran the course time and time again, while others are hoping that this is the year they will still be playing in November. No matter if you’re lining up for Aliquippa or Thomas Jefferson, Bethel Park or Monaca, the goal is still the same; to be able to look up on a November afternoon at the Heinz Field video board and see your team name next to the words “WPIAL CHAMPIONS.” Let the ride of ’09 begin….
