Linebacker Ejuan Price, a potential Division-1 prospect, is one of the key returning players to Woodland Hills’ 2010 defense.
To date, Price has received seven Division-1 scholarship offers, according to Scout.com. Buffalo, Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State, Pitt, Syracuse and West Virginia have all extended offers to the Wolverines’ 6’0, 220-pound senior-to-be.
Penn State and Purdue have expressed interest, but not offered Price a scholarship, according to Scout. Price had a very solid junior season, tallying 107 tackles, including 25 for loss.
In 2009, Woodland Hills’ defense allowed an average of 9.43 points per game, holding 12 opponents to 14 points or less, with two shutouts. The Wolverines won their fifth WPIAL championship and first since 2002 with a 10-0 shutout of Gateway. The turquoise and black won three WPIAL titles in a four-year period from 1999-2002.
Woodland Hills was eliminated by State College Area in the PIAA “AAAA” quarterfinals, 14-3.
