West Allegheny’s Mike Caputo keeps on racking up Division-1 scholarship offers. The versatile Caputo is now up to 10 Division-1 offers, according to his profile on Rivals.com.

Caputo had eight offers listed on his profile for quite some time – Boston College, Michigan State, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue and Wisconsin. Now, add in Michigan and West Virginia for the 6’1, 195-pound athlete.

Caputo did a little bit of everything for the Indians in helping lead WA to its fifth WPIAL football championship. He ran for more than 2,500 yards, scored three touchdowns as a receiver, and led the team in tackles. Caputo was also a threat on special teams.

West Allegheny finished with a 12-3 record, winning the WPIAL’s Parkway Conference championship and averaging 32.67 points per game before falling to Manheim Central, 45-27, in the PIAA “AAA” semifinals.
