Mt. Lebanon served us notice last season when they upended Pittsburgh Central Catholic in the third week of the season to start 2-1, and the Blue Devils finally appear to be moving upward after a few years in the basement after a 5-5 season a year ago. OL Tim Cwalina committed to Virginia, TE Paul Lang committed to Michigan State, and the Blue Devils’ leading rusher, junior Luke Hagy, is also back. Bethel Park may be 25-3 the last two years, and Upper St. Clair may field a respectable team this year, but don’t sleep on Mt. Lebanon.
