Team #3 Pittsburgh Central Catholic (7)
Written by: David Mika on Wednesday, September 1st, 2010The Vikings have Damion Jones-Moore and his more than 1,450 rushing yards back for another season, but the key lies at quarterback, where Central Catholic might have found the key to loosening up opposing defenses. Junior field general Perry Hills (20-of-36, 362 yards, 5 TD, 1 INT) went 4-0 to end PCC’s regular season, and the offense clicked to an average of 35 points per game in those contests. If Central Catholic can find some offensive linemen to replace a few holes up front, 2010 could be a pretty explosive year for the Vikings, who own an 81-12 record with a trio of WPIAL titles since the start of the 2003 season. Central Catholic is coming off of consecutive 8-3 seasons, and averaged 27.5 points per game a season ago.
