Paul Jones, one of the top quarterback prospects in the country, could be in jeopardy of missing his senior season with the Vikings. Jones suffered a broken ankle in a pick-up game of basketball on Wednesday, and had surgery on Monday.
Head Coach for the Vikings Jason Ruscitto said that it is to soon to tell if he will be out for the season, but is almost sure he will not see action until at least week 4 or 5.
His comeback could be October 1st, which is a Thursday Night on FSN when Sto-Rox hosts Seton LaSalle.
Scout.com has Jones ranked as the third-best quarterback prospect in the Country, who committed to Penn State back in January.
Paul was the second-leading passer in the WPIAL in 2008, throwing for 1,790 yards and 23 touchdowns.
No matter if Jones plays a down in during his final season with the Vikings, he will not lose his scholarship to Penn State and Happy Valley.
