Sto-Rox head coach returns
Written by: David Mika on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009Ron Butschle has been hired as Sto-Rox’s new head coach. He will take over for Jason Ruscitto.
Ruscitto led the Vikings to an 8-3 record this season. His team lost, to Beaver Falls 35-22 in the WPIAL Class AA quarterfinals.
Butschle coached at Sto-Rox from 2000-03 and had a 26-17 record.
He guided the Vikings to the 2003 WPIAL Class A title game before leaving to become Seneca Valley’s coach in 2004.
He spent four seasons at Seneca Valley before resigning after the 2008 season.
