Kenney, a 6’0, 180-pound athlete, made more of an impact running the football last season for State College.  He ran 670 yards, had 240 receiving yards, and 509 kick/punt return yards.  All told, Kenney totaled 1,419 all-purpose yards and scored 11 touchdowns.

As of April 25, Kenney owns offers from Connecticut, Illinois, Kentucky, NC State, Northwestern, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue, Stanford, and Virginia.

Kenney, though, isn’t the only Little Lion that’s the subject of Division-1 recruiting attention.

Offensive lineman Jack Deboef owns five offers:  Maryland, NC State, Purdue, Temple, and Buffalo have offered the 6’8, 265-pound lineman.  Iowa, Penn State, and West Virginia are also showing interest in Deboef, who runs a 5.3 40-yard dash, reports.

State College went 12-1 last season before being eliminated in the “AAAA” quarterfinals by Bethel Park.
