Written by: on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

Rivals.com, a national high school football recruiting website, released its first installment of the Top-100 high school football prospects for the Class of 2010 today.

Three Pennsylvania athletes grace the list.  They are Corey Brown, a running back for Cardinal O’Hara; Sharrif Floyd, a gargantuan defensive tackle for George Washington, and Paul Jones, quarterback for Sto-Rox High School and a Penn State commit.

Brown is the highest-ranked of the trio, checking in at #69.  Floyd is ranked #82; Jones #88.  All are rated as four-star recruits.

The #1-rated high school football prospect for the Class of 2010 hails from Minnesota.  Seantrel Henderson, a 6’8, 301 pound monster, plays on the offensive line for Cretin-Durban High School, located in the St. Paul area.

Pennsylvania had three athletes listed in the final installment of the Top-100 athletes for the Class of 2009, which was released January 28.  Corey Brown and Dorian Bell, both from Gateway, ranked #31 and #33, respectively.  West Scranton lineman Eric Shrive was ranked 80th.
