Pittsburgh 412 team

A local Pittsburgh PA thrown together 7 on 7 football team is making some noise!
The past 2 weekends the Pittsburgh 412 team playing in their first 2 ever 7 on 7 tournament together has finished in top 4 in Pittsburgh 7 on 7 tournament held at Valley high school in New Kensington vs 32 teams from all around USA last weekend, which qualified them for national tournament in Baltimore at the end of June.

Then this past weekend Saturday April 28,2012 Pittsburgh 412 played in the big 7 on 7 tournament in Philadelphia(Plymouth Meeting PA) which consisted against 20 other teams from around the USA, and Pittsburgh 412 made it to the championship game where they fell short, but qualified for the National 7 on 7 IMG Madden tournament to be held in Florida in July! (Pittsburgh 412 finished better than the PA Swag 7 0n 7 team who is considered by hype one of the best 7 on 7 teams in country on paper with many D1 players which lost to a very good Baltimore Team, which Pittsburgh 412 beat that Baltimore Team 21-6 to advance to finals)

What a great accomplishment for a team that has not even practiced together for these events!

Coach Jose Regus said these kids as a team have played great together and we are real proud of them considering we will get much better!

Of course 4 of the top standout players who have lead the team are been below.

On Offense and Defense Daron Clark from Perry Traditional has been getting noticed for being a ball hawk and making great leaping TD catches, and is getting recognized on scouts.com for his performance, and is starting to receive some D1 interest.

Also Defensively ZAIHE REGUS  GATEWAY HS has made some very timely interceptions during both tournaments.

Offensively the lethal combination Of North Hills HS Pittsburgh PA players Jordan Blackmon WR and Brian Johnson QB have accounted for much of the scoring connecting on numerous TD`s and extra point conversions. Both Players have received interest from D1 Colleges.

Congrats! And please change it to the PA Swag 7 on 7 football northeast regional tournament. It wasn’t an IMG tournament and it had 20 teams. Thanks!
