The perennial District 9 championship contender (there are only five “AA” schools in District 9) finds itself once again the favorite to win the D9 “AA” title.  Last season, KC scored 112 points in its two District playoff games, which might be a record for District playoff tournaments with only four teams, topping Manheim Central’s mark of 108 points in the 1995 District 3 “AAA” playoffs.  The Gremlins return a decent quarterback in Anthony Stimac, and three or four quality running backs to a Wing-T scheme which scored over 500 points for the second time this decade.
