Greensburg Central Catholic quarterback Trent Hurley is up to three Division-1 college football offers, according to Rivals.com.

The Centurions’ 6’5 quarterback has received offers from Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, and Miami (OH).  All three schools compete in the Mid-American Conference.

A fourth school, Delaware, a Division 1-AA school, has also offered Hurley a scholarship.

Hurley helped direct a punishing GCC offense last year that scored 467 points (two points shy of the school single-season record) and averaged 42.5 points per game.  The Centurions’ 10-1 season came to an end in the WPIAL “AA” quarterfinals by stingy Shady Side Academy.

Greensburg Central Catholic competes in the Interstate Conference with schools like Jeannette, Washington, and Waynesburg-Central. 

GCC, which played in WPIAL “AA” finals in 2005 and 2006, enters 2009 the defending Interstate Conference champions.
