General McLane

Written by: on Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

General McLane dropped down from “AAA” to “AA,” and they do so with a quarterback who can both run and pass effectively in the Lancers’ flexbone/option scheme.  Kellen O’Neil ran for over 900 yards and threw for over 800 last season in helping McLane reach its seventh District 10 championship game in school history.  A tough opener with Strong Vincent most likely serves as a measuring-stick game, but with games against Fairview and Harborcreek teams weakened by graduation, expect the Lancers to do just fine.
