Written by: on Friday, July 3rd, 2009

Surprise, surprise.  Gateway has another Division-1 tailback.

For the third consecutive season, the Gators will have a running back go to a Division-1 college.  All that remains to be seen is where.

Brendon Felder, a transfer from a high school in Massachusetts, is up to 12 Division-1 offers according to Rivals.com, a list that includes a mixture of BCS and MAC schools.

Felder has offers from North Carolina, Boston College, Illinois, and Pitt, along with five Mid-American Conference schools, including defending MAC champion Buffalo.

Gateway’s last two tailbacks, Cam Saddler and Brian Williams, both went to Division-1 schools.  Saddler went to Pitt, while Williams went to Navy.
