Written by: on Saturday, July 4th, 2009

Franklin Regional has another Division-1 prospect on its offensive line.

The Murrysville-based Panthers, who produced standout lineman John Malecki earlier this decade, now lay claim to Sean Hickey, a 6’6, 280-pound behemoth, who is up to six Division-1 offers, according to Rivals.com.

To date, Hickey has been offered scholarships from Boston College, Illinois, Syracuse, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, and Ohio.  He’s also drawn interest from Cincinnati, Colorado, Pitt, and Wisconsin.

Hickey provided blocking up front for a Franklin Regional offense that averaged 331 yards (169.7 rushing) and 23.5 points per game last season.

Hickey runs a 5.3-second 40-yard dash, according to Rivals.
