According to Rivals he chose Boston College over offers from Arizona, Bucknell, Kent State, Temple and Towson. He also had interest in Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and West Virginia. “My Uncle Chad has really helped me through the recruiting process,” said Lezzer. “Both my Uncles played at Penn State.”

He helped his team to a 11-1 record in 2012. “We have a lot coming back this season. Our goal is get into the state playoffs and make a run.”
