After narrowly beating Northern Cambria last week Juniata Valley came into the game with high hopes looking to knock of the Marauders and make the District 6 championship. Bishop Guilfoyle came into the game looking to make their 5th consecutive District 6 championship.

The Marauders opened the game with the ball and looked to get the offense rolling, break off big runs and get inside the red zone. Josh Yasulitis would start his tremendous night scoring his first of 5 touchdowns from a few yards out. Guilfoyle would kickoff giving the Hornets the ball at their own 15 yard line. After a fumbled first snap the Hornets would be forced to punt following a 3 and out.
Marauders would start with good field position and would look to capitalize again as they stormed down the field. Josh Yasulitis would punch in his second touchdown of the night putting the Marauders up 14-0 with 7 minutes remaining in the first.

Juniata Valley would start this time on their own 35 and look to try and get things started. After a first down Juniata Valley had a series of unfortunate plays putting them at 3rd and 39. Quin Zinobile would look to throw deep down the right sideline but Tyler Berkheimer would intercept the pass. BG dominated the run game all night taking the ball all the way back down into the redzone where Josh Yasulitis would find the endzone yet again.

On the following kick off Kolton McGhee executed an onside kick that would go on to be recovered by Mark Conrad. The Marauders would drive the ball back into scoring range where a familiar face found the endzone.

After the Yasulitis touchdown 2:33 was left in the first quarter. Juniata Valley was forced to punt again after a 3 and out giving the Marauders just enough time to score before the end of the first quarter this time off of a Michael Berish touchdown run. To open the 2nd quarter Zinobile was flushed out of the pocket and forced to throw the ball away but the pass was intercepted by John Fanelli and taken back for a touchdown. Juniata Valley would have another three and out and punt the ball back to the Marauders. This time they were able to take the ball inside the 40 where McGhee would hit a 34 yard field goal to but the score at 45-0.

Juniata Valley would get the ball back one more time before halftime but failed to capitalize. Guilfoyle would manage to score 35 seconds before the half from Josh Yasulitis 5th and final touchdown, this one on the receiving end.

To open the second half Quin Zinobile would take back the kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown to open the scoring for the Hornets. Now with a majority of the starters out for the Marauders, the second team would look to show what they could do. Their first drive stalled on fourth down where the Hornets would get the ball back. Zinobile would score again this time on a run to the left with 1:30 left in the third quarter. Paul Liebal would cap of the final scoring drive of the night for the Marauders at the 7:17 mark. The game would come to a close after each team exchanged fumbles.

The Marauders dominated in the run game rushing for an astounding 370 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Marauders will look to carry their success into the District 6 championship game against their undetermined opponent.
