Key Stats:
Jordan Misher 1539 Rushing Yards in 2014, Kellin Valentine 781 All Purpose Yards, Stan Martin 107 Tackles in 2014, Gabe Manyak 93 Tackles in 2014

2015 Outlook: They may have only been 6-7 last year, but when push came to shove the Little Lions laid it all on the line last year in the PIAA 4A Western Quarterfinals against eventual state runner-up Pine-Richland. The Lions were a very young team but stacked with talent that lost a few games in very close fashion. Matt Lintals squad returns 8 players on offense and 9 on defense. Jordan Misher is an All-State Candidate at running back. Add newcomer Tristan Lyons, who impressed in the scrimmage vs. St. Joes, and you have a running tandem capable of chewing up yardage behind an experienced offensive line. Look for State College to stack the win column and make a serious run to Hershey.

Offense – We return 3 starting offensive lineman as well as our three biggest playmakers in Misher, Valentine, and Graham.  We need to have some new WR’s step up along with the development of a new starting QB.  Establishing a well balanced attack will be the key to the 2015 campaign Rising junior Tyler Snyder is #1 going into camp after leading an undefeated jv team last year. Vinny Albegiani and Tristan Daman are seniors who will compete for the QB spot as well. Tristan Daman is the fastest kid at State High. Drew Friberg is a rising 10th grader who was an All Mid Penn varsity basketball player as a freshman. He is 6’5 and led the 9th grade football team to a 8-1 season

Defense – We return our entire Linebacker and Secondary as well as a few experienced Defensive Lineman.  We need a few new faces to step up, especially on the defensive line.  We need to improve upon our depth at every position but we are extremely excited about our defense.

Special Teams – We return two experience kickers who are both very capable but need to improve overall consistency.  We also return an All-Conference punter in Brett Graham.  We need a first year long snapper to take over for three year starter who graduated.  Kellin Valentine is coming back as a return threat after earning first team Mid-Penn honors in 2014.
