Howard ran for 2,234 yards and scored more than 30 touchdowns. He ran for 150 yards and a touchdown to help Clairton stifle Bishop McCort in winning the school’s first PIAA championship ever. #4 also established a new single-season school record for rushing yards in a season, surpassing Dana Brown’s mark set only a few years previous. Howard finished his Clairton career with over 4,415 career rushing yards, breaking the previous mark held by Zaire Washington.
