Clairton (7)

Written by: on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

Clairton (7) – For the second straight year, the WPIAL “A” title is Clairton’s to lose. The Bears are loaded despite the loss of two quality senior quarterbacks – Andrew Currington had over 2,400 yards of offense and Troy Webb skillfully led the Bears from Heinz Field to Hershey. Kevin Weatherspoon, a triple-threat on offense, defense, and special teams, returns to the fold, as does 1,700-yard rusher Deontae Howard.
