Thomas Jefferson should be one of the high school football programs that are considered for national rankings. Year-in and year-out, TJ has turned out quality team after quality team, and an average season for the black and gold since 2002 is an impressive 13-1. Considered the heavy favorite in Class “AAA,” TJ opens with a very strong Cleveland Glenville team before beginning its tour of the WPIAL. The Jags have won 29 of their last 30 WPIAL games, and have only lost four WPIAL contests since the start of 2004, a 48-4 (.923) record, just in District 7 alone. TJ begins 2008 on a 16-game win streak.
