George Novak (243-118-1) said he has 38 seniors on his roster this year at Woodland Hills.  That’s quite an impressive number, to say the least.  The Wolverines have quite a number of athletes at its disposal this year, from all-everything athlete Lafayette Pitts (Pitt commit), QB/S Javonte Pitts, C Julian Turner, DL Quinton Jefferson, LBs Mike Caprara (a junior) and Ejuan Price (107 tackles, 11 sacks), the Wolverines appear to be stacked once again.  Injuries did the Wolverines in last season.  But a run to a sixth WPIAL championship since 1996 is entirely in the cards.  Defense will  be the forte for Woodland Hills once again this season – the turquoise and black held 12 of their 14 opponents to 14 points or less, with two shutouts in 2009, allowing an average of 9.43 points per game.
